If you have any concerns during your stay, please visit us at the Registration Station or stop one of our staff members—we would love the opportunity to address them promptly to ensure your experience is nothing short of amazing.

On-Site Dining


Stop by the Tiki Snack Bar for lunch or dinner, or enjoy a yummy treat at the Bear Outpost! Enjoy a variety of menu items like burgers, salads, fries, chicken tenders, and more at the Tiki Snack Bar, and delicious frozen treats like ice cream at the Bear Outpost!

Guidelines & Availability for Amenities/Facilities

As a healthy guest, please follow these general guidelines:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer frequently.
  • Practice social distancing by maintaining at least 6 feet distance from others.
  • All guests must wear masks when entering any public building for the safety of our staff and other campers.

Until further notice, the following changes are in place:

  • Per government orders, there is a mandatory 14 day quarantine for travelers from impacted states.
  • Guests must wear a mask when inside buildings or when within 6 feet of other parties.
  • Temperatures will be taken upon entry. You may not stay with us if you feel sick prior to arrival or have a temperature over 100.4.

Guidelines & important information for our amenities & facilities: 

  • The Water Zone and swimming pools are open! The number of guests will be limited per government guidelines. Sign-up sheets will be available at check-in to avoid crowding at the pools. See below for details.
    • Guests must sign up for swim time & Water Zone/pools in advance. The time slot options will be posted on the “Hours of Operation” sheet given to you at check-in, and also available in the “Hours of Operation” sheet above.
    • Guests may call or stop by the Registration Station the day of arrival to sign up for a block of time.
    • Guests can only sign up for one swim per day (Mon-Wed) and one swim per weekend (Thurs-Sun), but are welcome to check back during another swim time to see if there is availability.
    • Cabana renters can stay in the main pool/Water Zone all day and do not need to sign up for a time slot. Please note you will need to get out of the water and stay in your cabana during the 30 minutes of cleaning time.
  • Lazer Tag is open with enhanced sanitizing procedures and social distancing guidelines. Sign up at the Bear Outpost.
  • Sports courts (basketball, tennis, volleyball, shuffleboard) are open with social distancing guidelines. You must bring your own equipment.
  • Gaga ball is open for immediate family members or people with which they reside only. You must bring your own equipment.
  • Horseshoes are open, however, guests must bring their own equipment and practice proper social distancing.
  • Fishing is available. Guests must bring their own equipment and follow social distancing guidelines. Please remember to catch and release.
  • Kayak rentals are available to use in the Wallkill River. Please visit the Bear Outpost to rent a kayak – $25/hour, $45/half day, $60/full day.
  • Mini golf is open. Guests must follow social distancing guidelines. Get your balls and putter outside the Rec Hall. Place your used putter in the basket located at the mini golf shed.
  • The playgrounds are open. Guests must follow social distancing guidelines.
  • The jumping pillows are open. Guests must follow social distancing guidelines.
  • Gem Mining is open. Guests must follow social distancing guidelines.
  • Pedal Carts are open with enhanced sanitizing procedures and social distancing guidelines.
  • Explore our Camp-Resort by going for a run, walk, or bike ride!
  • Enjoy campfires & s’mores at your designated site.
  • Play cards/games at your site.
  • Take-out activities such as arts & crafts and scavenger hunts are available for pick up. See your activity schedule for more information. (We have some fun activities planned!)
  • Rent golf carts, hot tubs, cabanas, and linens (with proper cleaning procedures in place after each use). Please visit or call reservations for more information.
  • Reservations is open. 3 people are allowed in Reservations at a time. Guests must follow social distancing guidelines and wear a mask both inside and outside of the Ranger Station.
  • The Ranger Station (store) is open. 10 people are allowed in the store at a time. Guests must follow social distancing guidelines and wear a mask both inside and outside of the Ranger Station. We will be offering contactless payment for guests who have a card on file. You must confirm the last 4 digits of your card at the time of transaction.
  • The Tiki Snack Bar is available for take-out only.
  • The Bear Outpost is open to serve ice cream! Window service for take-out only.
  • Comfort Stations (restrooms) are open 24/7 and will be cleaned from 8am to 9pm
  • The laundry facility is open 24/7 for use. No more than 2 people are allowed to do laundry at a time.
  • Look out for our Bears around the Camp-Resort! Check your activity schedule for when they’ll be on the prowl so you can get a photo with them! Please remember to practice social distancing and do not touch or hug the Bears. Air-fives are highly encouraged!

Need a little help with your amenity? Here are some instructions! If you need additional assistance, feel free to give us a call or stop by the Registration Station!

Golf Carts
1. Make sure the brake is locked before putting the key in.
2. Put the key in the ignition and turn the key to the right until it is in the on position. Note: you will not hear the golf cart engine come on, most golf carts are quiet.
3. Put the golf cart in the forward “F” position. The reverse “R” position is to go backwards and this will make a loud beeping noise.
3. Slowly press down on the gas. It is important to press the gas slowly because golf carts start out at their full acceleration. After slowly pressing on the gas you will hear the break release and then you can gradually increase your speed.
4. Drive with caution and remember that our max speed is 5MPH.
5. To stop the golf cart, gradually press down on the brake until you hear it lock in place. It is critical that the brake is locked in place otherwise the golf cart will not remain parked.
6. Take the key out when you are not operating the golf cart.

Hot Tubs
1. Your hot tub will be delivered with water in it at 7pm.
2. Please do not enter the hot tub with shoes on or clothes other than bathing suits.

3. Your hot tub will be picked up at 1pm.

4. Topside Functions: Jets, Light, and Mode.

5. The mode is changed by pressing the “Temp” button, then pressing the “Light” button.

  • Standard Mode is programmed to maintain the desired temperature. Note that the last measured spa temperature displayed is current only when the pump has been running for at least 2 minutes.
  • Economy Mode and Sleep Mode heats the spa to set temperature only during filter cycles.

 

AC/Heating
Air Conditioning:
1. Turn unit on
2. Slide front cover down
3.Press mode until you see the snow flake (2nd from the top)
4. Use up and down arrows to adjust temperature.
Heat:
1. Turn unit on
2. Slide front cover down
3.Press mode until you see the sun (4th from the top – below water droplet)
4. Use up and down arrows to adjust temperature.
*If you have more than one unit in your cabin, BOTH must be on the same mode and same temperature to work properly. Fan button under cover will adjust fan speed and direction of air.

Important Information Regarding Your Stay

  • Quiet hours: Daily: 10pm – 8am
  • Check-out is by 11am for cabins and 1pm for campsites.
  • While at the park, make sure that a car tag is visibly displayed in all vehicles.
  • Wristbands must be worn during your stay.
  • Max 10 people per site.
  • Day Camp Passes are not available.
  • Visitors are not allowed at your site.
  • Firewood, propane, and ice are available at the Ranger Station.
  • Place your bagged trash and recycling by the roadside between 8am and dusk and our Rangers will pick it up for you.
  • Per government orders, there is a mandatory 14 day quarantine for travelers from impacted states.
  • At the end of your stay our housekeeping staff will clean your cabin and prepare it for our next guest. You can help us by washing your dishes, putting any items moved back in their original location and bagging your trash and setting it outside. Guests will be charged $75-$250 if the cabin is excessively dirty and requires extra cleaning.
  • Help us conserve energy by turning off both outside and inside lights when they are not needed. When using AC/heating in the cabins, please close doors and windows.
  • fire ring has been provided so you can enjoy a campfire. Help us keep the Camp-Resort clean and protect the environment by not moving your fire ring. You will be charge $25 if the fire ring is moved.
  • The furniture inside the cabins has been designed for indoor use. We ask that you do not take the furniture outdoors—this includes moving the wood rocking chairs from the deck or porch.
  • In order to provide a healthy environment for all our guests, we prohibit smoking in all cabins. Guests will be charged an additional $250 cleaning fee if it is discovered that someone has been smoking in a cabin.
  • Each cabin has been equipped with items to make your stay more enjoyable. We ask that you care for these items and leave them in the cabin when you depart. Guests will be charged for items that are damaged or removed. For information on the cost of items, please give us a call or stop by the Registration Station.
  • We welcome furry friends in the cabins that have been designated “pet-friendly.” For the health of other guests, we prohibit pets in all other cabins. Guests may be charged an extensive cleaning fee if it is discovered a pet has been in a cabin that is not furry friend approved.
